THE REV. SARAH E. LOGEMANN

PASTOR

PastorSarah@fortstreet.org

Pastor Sarah grew up in the Denver-metro area in a family full of loving, atheist lawyers. Ballet was her first passion, and she danced with the Colorado Ballet Company as a teenager and young adult. Though faith was not a part of her upbringing, Sarah felt a spiritual curiosity that would lead her to church as a high school student. That curiosity turned into a vocational call and led Sarah to work in education and ministry in Seattle, northeast Ohio and New York City. She has always been drawn to the mysteries of faith that invite people of all backgrounds and experiences into a place of awe and wonder. Alongside her work as a pastor, Sarah writes Christian education curricula and is a church consultant with Ministry Architects. She enjoys running marathons, hiking, listening to Jazz, and organizing messes wherever she may find them.

THE REV. Dr. GARRETT R. MOSTOWSKI

PASTOR

PastorGarrett@fortstreet.org

Pastor Garrett serves as co-pastor along with his wife, the Rev. Sarah Logemann. One of the first things he loved about Fort Street was the warmth of the people. He could laugh with them, listen to their stories, and spend easy time with them. He also was inspired by their commitment to serving Detroit. Pastor Garrett is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary. His doctoral degree (D.Min.) is from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He is also the co-host, along with his wife, of the podcast Textual Intercourse, where he and Pastor Sarah have a conversation about the scripture they have chosen to preach for the upcoming week. He enjoys writing in his free time, and his work has been found in the Princeton Theological Review, Geez Magazine, The Christian Century, and other small publications.
