We wrapped up our week-long Peace Camp, a joyful revival of a beloved Fort Street tradition.

Youth ages 4 to 12, along with our wonderful teenage and adult helpers, spent the week reflecting on what peace looks like and how we can put it into action each day.

Through hands-on activities, campers explored:

  • Peace with friends and family through bread-baking
  • Peace with God through Bible stories
  • Peace with our neighbors by assembling sanitation kits for the Open Door Program

Highlights for the kids included an excursion to Lafayette Gardens and drum circle.

Be sure to stop by Kingins Hall to see the Hands of Peace Art Project created during the week.

Thank you to all the volunteers and campers who made Peace Camp such a meaningful and successful experience.
